DEBBIE DYNER HARRIS

Member At Large

Debbie Dyner Harris is a veteran of local government in Los Angeles.  During her almost 20 years with the City of Los Angeles, Debbie has overseen field operations and land use for five City Councilmembers.  Since July 2018, she has held the position of District Director for City Councilmember Paul Koretz, supervising field activities and generally making sure that the Councilmember’s constituents are well taken care of.
In addition to working with the City of Los Angeles, Debbie was previously the Director of Programs and Government Relations for The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, where she directed government relations programming, planned community outreach strategies, and oversaw the coordination and implementation of volunteerism, hunger policy and educational programs.  
Debbie is a product of local universities, with a BA from UCLA in History and a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from USC. When not in the office, she can be found listening to music, at a baseball game, or with her nose in a book.
